This policy explains how VIXNODE handles information when you use our website, account, website creation and hosting services, AI-assisted features, and VIXNODE integrations through the Model Context Protocol (MCP) in compatible AI assistants, applications, or other clients. VIXNODE is the service provider identified in your order confirmation or invoice. For privacy questions or requests, contact service@vixnode.com.
Account and service information: email address, display name, account identifiers, language, authentication and authorization information, subscription plan, credits, quotas, and usage records. We use this information to authenticate you, enforce access permissions, provide services, manage subscriptions and resource limits, and respond to support requests.
Website and project content: project and page identifiers, names, paths, settings, HTML, layout content, SEO metadata, structured data, page versions and differences, publication settings, domain names, and member or inviter identifiers where needed to access shared projects. We process these to retrieve, create, edit, preview, compare, publish, host, and manage the content you request.
Media and files: images, videos, documents and other files, including file contents or Base64 upload chunks, filenames, formats, MIME types, paths, sizes, upload identifiers, thumbnails, and public or private settings. We process these to upload, assemble, store, retrieve, and serve resources for your projects.
Requests and external resources: instructions, prompts, reference URLs, and the content retrieved from those URLs when you request website retrieval or an AI-assisted feature. We use these to perform the requested operation and return its result.
Support and technical information: contact details and messages you send us, together with connection IP addresses, request times, browser or client information, access and activity records, and error or diagnostic information generated while providing the service. These support troubleshooting, security, abuse prevention, service operation, and analysis of website usage. Records can include resource identifiers or request-related content when relevant to an error or operation.
Provide only information needed for the requested task. Content you upload or place in a page may itself contain personal information about you or other people; ensure you have authority to use and share it.
When you connect VIXNODE to a compatible MCP client, we receive the authentication information needed to validate access and the arguments sent to the selected tool. These may include the account, project, page, domain, HTML, SEO, URL, or file information described above. A connection does not by itself provide VIXNODE with your entire conversation history; we receive information passed through the connection, tool calls, and associated interfaces.
Tool results are returned to the client operating the connection. Depending on the operation, results may include your account email and display name, plan, credits and quotas; accessible project and page lists; page HTML and historical versions; SEO and domain status; file lists, contents, thumbnails and resource URLs; preview content; and creation, modification, upload, or publication results and errors. Results may be supplied as text, structured data, or interface data. The connected client and its service provider process returned information under their applicable terms and privacy policies. Review those policies and the client's data controls before connecting VIXNODE.
We use connection inputs and outputs to carry out your requests, validate permissions, and provide the service. Reading content sends that content to the requesting client even when it does not change your project. Service operation also includes maintaining and repairing account storage indexes when required for retrieval. Missing storage structure may be repaired using an empty project index; this maintenance does not create a website project or add project content. Writing tools can save or overwrite content, upload resources, change settings, or publish content according to the requested operation. Review the tool request, target project, and any available confirmation or preview before proceeding.
Your connected client: The MCP client you choose, and its service provider where applicable, receive tool results when you use that connection. This includes personal information contained in the requested result, not only an account identifier.
Service providers: hosting, storage, network delivery, authentication, payment, and support providers process the information needed to operate their respective services. Microsoft Azure provides VIXNODE hosting infrastructure and processes data needed to host and operate the service. Our storage integration also supports Microsoft Azure. Account-scoped repositories used by the configured GitHub service receive saved page content and version or publication commits for history and deployment. AI-assisted generation can send your submitted prompts, reference content and media, and associated request information to OpenAI or Microsoft Azure OpenAI, depending on the feature and configured service. The provider used for a feature depends on the enabled service and configuration.
Usage statistics: Third-party analytics service providers receive operation events and tool-specific attributes such as model and service names, source information, language, generation settings, costs, success status, file formats, sizes, and upload progress. Depending on the operation, events may also include account, project and page identifiers, version references, resource URLs, and event source locations. The relevant tools exclude HTML, prompts, full SEO payloads, confirmation tokens, resource filenames, directory paths, and search query text from their event parameters. These providers process received statistics under their applicable privacy policies and retention settings.
External websites and domain services: fetching a URL contacts that website and exposes the requested URL and normal network request information to it. Domain configuration and verification involve the domain name and related routing, DNS, and certificate services.
Collaborators and the public: authorized collaborators can access content according to project permissions. Publishing pages or uploading resources to a public location makes the relevant content available to visitors and potentially search engines. Media embedded in public pages and resources accessible through public URLs may be downloaded or copied by others. A preview or resource URL should not be treated as confidential merely because it is not linked from your website.
Legal and security recipients: we may disclose relevant information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or as necessary to investigate abuse, protect safety, and enforce rights. Access within VIXNODE is limited to personnel who need information to perform these purposes.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. Service-related sharing described above is distinct from a sale. Third-party services may process information in countries other than yours and apply their own retention rules. Information copied by a connected client or third party is subject to that recipient's controls.
The following retention and deletion rules apply to information held by VIXNODE:

Backups are copies maintained for recovery, such as database backups, storage snapshots, and backup file copies. Page version history used for editing is saved project data and follows the active-content rule above. Cancelling a subscription, disconnecting an MCP client, or expiration of a connection token does not automatically delete your account, projects, or files. Authorization records are kept while needed to validate or manage the connection.
Deletion from active storage and removal from backups are separate stages. For a verified deletion request, removal from active storage takes up to 30 days, followed by up to 30 days to remove backup copies. Information required for legal obligations or an ongoing dispute or security investigation may be retained longer for that purpose. Where information must be retained, we will explain the applicable restriction to the extent permitted by law.
Public caches, downloads, search engine copies, and copies held by a connected MCP client, its service provider, or another recipient are outside VIXNODE's deletion controls and follow their recipients' policies. Contact us to request deletion or ask about retention applicable to your data.
You can choose which content to submit, review publication and project access settings, and use the available website controls to manage your content. You can disconnect VIXNODE through your MCP client's connection settings to stop using that connection. For server-side revocation, account closure, or deletion assistance, contact service@vixnode.com. Disconnecting a client does not retract previous tool results or remove published content.
You may request access to, correction of, a copy of, or deletion of your personal information, and request restriction of processing or withdraw consent where applicable. Tell us the account email and relevant project or resource identifiers so we can locate the information. We may verify account ownership before acting; do not send passwords, access tokens, or unnecessary sensitive information by email. Some requests may be limited by legal obligations or the information needed to provide a service you continue to use. To remove public content or change its visibility where the interface does not provide a suitable control, contact us for assistance.
Manage information already shared with a connected MCP client or its service provider through that provider's privacy controls as well. For information received from Google, you can also revoke the application's access through your Google Account permissions.
When you use a feature connected to Google, we process the Google information authorized for that feature to provide it. VIXNODE's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use data obtained through Google Workspace APIs to develop, enhance, or train generalized AI or machine learning models. The retention, deletion, and request controls above also apply to Google user data we hold.
We use cookies and similar browser storage for login, session operation, preferences, and website functions. Website usage measurement may process browsing and click activity and related technical information to understand service usage. You can manage cookies and browser storage through your browser settings; blocking them may prevent login or other features from working. Public websites created by users may include their own scripts, analytics, or forms, for which the website operator is responsible.
We use authentication, authorization, and access controls to protect account and project information. No storage or transmission system can guarantee complete security. Avoid including secrets or sensitive personal information in public pages, files, URLs, or content sent to an AI client. External websites and services have their own privacy policies; this policy describes VIXNODE's handling of information.
We publish revisions on this page and update the date above. Review this policy when enabling a new connection or feature. For questions about data uses, recipients, retention, or your rights, contact service@vixnode.com.
