Open your account's Websites page, open the website settings menu, and select Bandwidth Limit.
When the bandwidth limit is reached, the project's published page will be temporarily suspended. The limit takes effect approximately one hour after the settings are updated.
Use Bandwidth Limit to schedule a maximum amount of bandwidth for a project during a selected time period.
Configure the limit
Enter the following values in the Bandwidth Limit dialog:
- Start Time: The date and time when the limit starts.
- End Time: The date and time when the limit ends.
- Limit Size: The maximum bandwidth in GB. The value supports up to two decimal places.
Monitor usage
When a limit size is configured, the dialog displays the current bandwidth usage and a progress bar. Usage is shown in MB, while the configured limit is shown in GB.
The progress bar changes color as usage increases: purple below 80%, amber from 80% to the limit, and red when the limit has been reached.
Save or clear the limit
- Save: Apply the selected schedule and bandwidth limit.
- Clear: Remove the start time, end time, and limit size to disable the bandwidth limit.
- Close: Close the dialog without changing the settings.
