Login account > Websites page > open a website > select Data tab.

Set API connection data source

Create and manage API data connections for website binding.

  • Step 1: Open Data tab.
  • Step 2: Click Data Source.
  • Step 3: Fill in connection settings.
  • Step 4: Click Test Connection.
  • Step 5: Review returned data and fields.
  • Step 6: Click Save.

Setting fields

Configure API request information and dataset mapping.

  • * Name: Data connection name.
  • * Host: API URL (must start with https://).
  • Method: GET or POST.
  • Headers: add/remove request headers.
  • Request Data: JSON body payload.
  • * Root Name: data root alias (must be unique).
  • Root: default root node path in source data.

Data fields and test result

Use test tools to validate schema and inspect returned fields.

  • Data Fields tab shows nested data properties after loading.
  • Test Connection opens result dialog with response preview.
  • You can open existing data source to edit or delete from settings menu.
