Login account > Websites page > open a website > select Data tab.
Required fields must be completed before saving or testing data source connection.
Set API connection data source
Create and manage API data connections for website binding.
- Step 1: Open Data tab.
- Step 2: Click Data Source.
- Step 3: Fill in connection settings.
- Step 4: Click Test Connection.
- Step 5: Review returned data and fields.
- Step 6: Click Save.
Setting fields
Configure API request information and dataset mapping.
- * Name: Data connection name.
- * Host: API URL (must start with https://).
- Method: GET or POST.
- Headers: add/remove request headers.
- Request Data: JSON body payload.
- * Root Name: data root alias (must be unique).
- Root: default root node path in source data.
Data fields and test result
Use test tools to validate schema and inspect returned fields.
- Data Fields tab shows nested data properties after loading.
- Test Connection opens result dialog with response preview.
- You can open existing data source to edit or delete from settings menu.
